Fat Bucks

All the bucks are doing very, very well and have gained a little weight! They are on alfalfa/orchard/oat hay, twice a day, and as you can see from the photos - they are thriving.

Hope you all are enjoying the heat!

Farm life & trips!

As usual, things have been busy on the ranch lately. Lots of does in milk, new animals, old animals, no more babies being born (right now), does are needing to be getting bred soon, the weather is hot, everyone is doing pretty well for the most part and everyone has been busy!

This is a new bottle calf,

And some new older calves,

One of our guard llamas,

My wonderful Mom,

A new miniature horse,

Early Friday morning, me and 3 of my older siblings headed out to Nebraska. It was almost a 10 hour trip. We were headed there for the Nebraska State Republican Convention to Live Stream it. The trip went well, the people in Nebraska were very friendly and welcoming, and we had a blast.

The guest house we stayed at,

Silly tired siblings!

Hope you all have a great day and don't overheat in this hot weather!

Liberty Party at the Ranch!

This past Sunday, July 1st, we had a big Liberty Party at the Ranch. Lots of Ron Paul, liberty loving people came up. We had a great time, and thanks to everyone who came. To those who didn't come, you certainly missed out!

We had TONS of food, and still have lots of left overs. What's a party without tons of food?!?

We had music playing all day long, and in the evening we had some songs sung live by Hannah Young, her sister and several of us (myself included, in the group songs).

The pony rides on Liberty Lady were a huge hit among the kids, and the big guys when they wanted to be goofy :),

There was lots of hang out time with our fellow freedom loving friends. Some drove here from as far as 5 hours away!

A few speeches were done in the evening after dinner as well as the singing,

We also played volleyball.

We had a blast, and hope everyone else did too! If you didn't make it this time, maybe you can next time :).

When it was milking time, I was hoping to just get a few of my siblings and good friends in there and get milking done as quickly as possible. Well, we got it done quickly, but my sister decided to say over the mic that it was milking time and everyone was welcome to watch! So, there ended up being about 40 people in the milk room watching. It was fun, and I hope everyone enjoyed watching ;).

Hope you all have a great 4th of July!
