31/21 - Farm Fotos

Lulu is our latest bottle calf. We've had her for about 2 months now and she is the sweetest little thing ever! My little sister, Hanunyah, has her halter trained and gives her baths. She even comes to her name.

Armor is one of our livestock guardian dogs. He is 75% Anatolian and 25% Great Pyrenees. He is just about 2 years old, and is not nearly as good of a  guardian as our older male, Jethro who is 100% Great Pyrenees. From the many different livestock dogs we've had over the years, I personally like the Pyrenees much better than the Anatolians. The 75% Pyrenees and 25% Anatolians are pretty good as well, but I have not been impressed with the higher percentages of Anatolians. Just a small observance from the years of having goats and their guards :).

This is one of the Finn bottle lambs.

We are down to 3 llamas finally. Our one white female that had a baby almost 2 years ago (Salty), this brown and white girl who's name is Martha and then our one friendly male, George. They are all finally now out with the goats in the 40 acres and doing great.

The sows and their piglets are doing great.

As normal there are several ponies around the ranch that my big brother is training. He doesn't ride them... my little 10 year old brother does that. He also trains regular sized horses as well.

Have a great day!
