Howdy y'all!! Here are some recent pictures from around Liberty Ranch. Speaking of Liberty Ranch (what we call our place, the resident ranch of Good Goats), have you liked our page on Facebook yet? If you haven't, head on over there and "like" us!
The weather has cooled off the past few days, and for that we are very thankful! This morning it was 57 degrees when we milked - so nice!
Yesterday we came home with 4 llamas (3 females, 1 male), 5 pigs, 1 miniature donkey, 1 bottle calf and one goat. . . just another Friday night!
Okay, on to the photos...
this is Roxy taking a roll in the rocks...she's such a good pup.
Patriot, the MiniNubian, Powerhouse and Paul - the 3 amigos.
the 2 resident bottle calves, a bull calf on the left and heifer calf on the right.
2 donkeys
a Muscovy duck, we have soo many of them. They are great. They don't quack, and they eat lots and lots of bugs!
Can you guess what it is?
Mooo! Mama!!
The short, fat, miniature donkey jack.
Jenny, one of our MiniNubian doelings.
2 of the new female llamas smelling one of our male llamas through the fence. He is just a little thing compared to them!
Big, alert girls.
Pretty llama mamas! They were in with a very large male llama, and they all appear to be bred. Yay for crias!
Powerhouse....
Pony rides, there are always lots of ponies and horses being trained across the street.
This morning we partly sheared the big male llama this way. He is very wild, and this was the safest way to do it. He didn't get a pretty haircut, but I'm sure he feels much cooler now.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Suriyah
